On Tuesday, 1st November 2016, we went on an Art and Science trip to the Goulandris Natural History Museum. We had the opportunity to draw and learn about different animals and how they adapt to their environments. We also learned about how animals live, eat and how they feed in their natural habitat. Everyone really enjoyed the trip and had a great time. We had the opportunity to see crystals, animals, insects and many more exciting things. All the drawing and research will be used for an Art class project. It was great fun!

What is the most effective way to learn about the Olympic Games? Inviting the most well-known Greek Olympic medalists to our school. Thank you to Pyrros Dimas for talking to Year 2 pupils about the Olympic Games' values and for sharing his knowledge and experience with the children. It was a great inspiration for us all!

Visiting the Cycladic Art Museum was a great opportunity for Year 4 pupils to enrich their knowledge about Greek mythology. They were able to learn more about the gods and heroes through the scenes depicted on the ceramic pots and vessels.
