The Year 6 end-of-year party was an absolute success! Our pupils embraced the prom-like theme with enthusiasm, learning how to participate in a formal occasion. Dressed in beautiful formal attire of black, white, and red, they were greeted at the gate with corsages and boutonnieres lovingly prepared by their parents.
The evening began with lively chatter and fun at the Photo Booth, complete with a red carpet and a stunning balloon arch. After dining at beautifully set tables and indulging in delicious ice cream, the pupils moved to the hall, where a delightful surprise awaited them. Each received a summer bag filled with a t-shirt, hat, and permanent markers. They joyfully decorated each other’s shirts with names and messages before dancing on stage to the party music set up by Senior School pupils, Stavros and Michael.
As the lights dimmed, the disco kicked off, and the neon bracelets, combined with the disco ball, created a magical atmosphere. The evening culminated with the presentation of certificates by Mrs Korakaki, with humorous comments from Dr Vourloumi and Mrs Bersis. Together with their parents and Mrs Nanopoulou who stayed with the children for the party the Y6 pupils watched a heartwarming video of Junior School highlights made by Mrs Hind. The night was filled with unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime!
