IGCSE Geography Fieldwork

Last Thursday, the Year 11 Geography students went to Rafina as part of their GCSE coursework preparation. The students collected data in order to understand how Rafina has grown and developed into a port that now serves 2 million people per year. Part of the day was asking their prepared questionnaires to local people, asking them about their thoughts on the town. This helped our students to understand the complex issues that are involved in Human Geography and they are now looking forward to preparing detailed coursework.

On a personal note, I am still getting used to undertaking fieldwork in the sunshine compared to England, and our amazing Campion students certainly add to the wonderful experience.
