On Tuesday 28th November, IB students attended a presentation, given by members of the of London School of Economics, at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall in Plaka. They provided invaluable information and advice regarding scholarship opportunities at LSE. The event marked the launch of a new era for the Stelios Scholarships, which starting this year will award five students from Greece and Cyprus £51,000 each to help fund their studies at LSE.

The event included an opening address by distinguished entrepreneur and LSE alumnus, Sir Stelios Haji-ioannou, as well as an introduction to the Stelios Scholarships, and an overview of the LSE undergraduate admissions process. The evening included a panel discussion with former Stelios Scholars, who provided insight into the advantages of studying in the UK, and shared reflections from their time at LSE, offering helpful guidance to future students and all those interested.
