Over 40 children in Years 4 and 5 are participating in the Campion Junior Duke, a life skills club that encourages resilience and independence. At home, they have been making soup, washing dishes, setting tables, sewing, collecting litter and learning about their local area. Some have even budgeted, shopped and made their own packed lunches and others have taken charge of managing their own time in the mornings. In school, they have participated in first aid training, prepared stories to read to our EYFS classes and learned how to mend a puncture in a bicycle tyre. They are doing a fantastic job recording their activities in their journals, and we look forward to hearing how they are putting their skills to good use in the future!
