Year 7 visit the Goulandris Natural History Museum

On Friday 8th November, Year 7 went on an extraordinary science and art trip to the Goulandris Natural History Museum. At first we were shown a 3D film on the big sphere about cities and pollution which was very interesting. Then we gathered many drawings of animals, bugs and all sorts of creatures for our art project. We also learned things for science such as animal and insect adaptations and natural habitats. We also learned about these animals’ history by observing each one. In addition, we looked at fascinating rocks such as obsidian, quartz; even ancient skulls, fossils and shells. It was a really enjoyable trip.
