Lego WeDo 2.0 football competition

Campion Juniors are into robotics and recently competed in the national educational robotics tournament. Participants were Odysseas Sampatas (Year 6), Kimonas Sampatas (Year 4) & Michael Saridis (Year 6). Yiannis Kalapotharakos (Year 4) and Ektoras Papadiamantopoulos (Year 6) also offered some assistance and helped to prepare the team.

Our team competed in robotic football: two opposite teams with two members each used remote control robots try to score with a table tennis ball on a special field! Our team qualified amongst 50 teams from Athens (Attiki semi-finals) and made it to the national final in the category 'WeDo 2.0 Football'.
The team managed to complete the games with a total of three wins and only one loss (19-11 goals). With that result, the ‘scorers’ came in sixth place overall across the country!
