Special Olympics Fun Run

On Sunday 12th November, a group of CAS students in Year 12 attended the Special Olympics Fun Run of the Athens Classic Marathon. We ran together and supported athletes with special needs in a 1.5 km run from the Greek parliament to the Panathenaic stadium. It was a wonderful experience and made a great impact on both the CAS students and the special needs athletes.

A Big Thank You!

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to our Let's Make a Child Happy campaign. Thanks to your generosity, we collected dozens of school bags, pencil cases and large quantities of other school supplies which were handed over to the Hamogelo tou Paidiou organisation on the 20th of October, 2017. We are very happy with the wonderful response we got from everybody and pleased to be doing something positive to help children not as fortunate as ourselves. THANK YOU!

La vie est toujours belle à Paris!

On Saturday 21st October, a group of 21 Campion School students from Years 10, 11 and 12 met at Eleftherios Venizelos airport at 4:00 am. Our direct flight to Paris, Charles de Gaulle was at 6:05 am. There was no rushing, since all students checked in on time and we waited with excitement to get on the plane! Mrs Christopoulou, Mrs Angelopoulou, Mr Psaromatis and our Senior School receptionist, Ms Andrianaki, were all there to guide us.

Little Shop of Horrors

Meek flower shop assistant Seymour pines for his co-worker Audrey. During a total eclipse, he discovers an unusual plant he names Audrey II, which feeds only on human blood. The growing plant attracts a great deal of business for the previously struggling store. After Seymour feeds Audrey's boyfriend, Orin, to the plant after Orin's accidental death, he must come up with more bodies for the increasingly bloodthirsty plant.
What will he do?
Can the plant be stopped?
Or will it take over the world?!

PRC Blood Drive

The PRC is taking the initiative to organise, for the first time this year, a blood drive in collaboration with the Agia Sofia Children’s Hospital, which will take place after the holidays. The aim is twofold: (1) to help the children in need, and (2) to establish a blood bank that will be readily available to the Campion community should it be needed.

In fact, every two seconds someone in Greece needs blood. Although a lot of people are eligible to donate blood, very few do, making blood donors part of an elite group. By taking part in our blood drive you can help spread the word about how great it feels to donate blood and give someone a chance to share more laughter, joy, and time with family and friends.

Therefore, we kindly ask you to let us know, by return mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (deadline 17 November 2017), if you would be interested in participating in our blood drive.

However, there are certain restrictions that need to be considered before replying. Please check the following list:

  • You are under 18 or over 65
  • You have spent more than 6 months in the UK between 1986 and 1996 (unless you were a vegetarian)
