Campion School, to celebrate its 50th anniversary in September 2020, intends to commission a local artist to create a commemorative sculpture for its premises.
The sculpture will be designed to fit in a covered area at the school’s primary entrance which is located in the Senior School foyer. The area is semi-covered and the piece should be weather resistant.
As the school adheres to EU Health and Safety standards, the piece should be immobile and suitable for an environment with children of all ages.
The sculpture should not be higher than 2m and not more than 2 cubic metres in total.
As the piece will be situated in the school foyer the possibility of seating around the sculpture should be kept in mind, or even incorporated into the design, as the foyer serves as a meeting place for parents and pupils alike.
Choice of material is up to the artist.
Renumeration for the commission will be Euro 10,000 and the deadline for submission of proposals and resumes is 30th November 2019.
Deadline for delivery of the commission will be 31st July 2020.
All interested applicants are invited to visit the premises by contacting Dee Baker on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

This year's Graduation and Prizegiving Ceremony was, as every year, a special event to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work of students and staff over the course of the past academic year.

The ceremony kicked off with the graduates of 2019 who, dressed in their best, came forward to receive their diplomas and best wishes from guest speaker and alumnus Andre Shortell, son of Tom and Betsy Shortell, Sr, the school's founders. Betsy Shortell was on hand for the event. The school was delighted to have one of its first students as well as its cofounder on hand for the ceremony.

Prizewinners from Years 7 to 13 then received awards for their contribution to academic, artistic and sporting excellence across the Senior School.

Graduate Sarah Al Khashlok, winner of the Headmaster's Prize, concluded the ceremony with a moving address to the audience.

The Headmaster and staff of Campion School wish the graduating class every success in their future studies and καλό καλοκαίρι!
